Prayers in Parliament - Remembrance Day

LDCF gathered for a prayer meeting in the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft, Houses of Parliament on an important day - 100 years on from the start of the First World War.

It felt particularly poignant to be gathered together in the heart of Parliament on such a significant day in Britain's history. Inspired by remembrance of the wars that have gone before, we spent time calling out to God for peace in our world that, tragically, remains so rife with conflict.

Please continue to pray for peace in our communities, our nation, and our world.

If you would like to explore the subject of peace further then we would recommend reading the transcript of this year's LDCF Gladstone Lecture 'How can we best promote peace in the world?'; given by Baroness Shirley Williams.
