Hitting the road

The Liberal Democrat Christian Forum joined Christian Aid, the Children's Society, the Conservative Christian Fellowship and Christians on the Left to begin a roadshow of workshops that explore the mixing of faith and politics. Come along to one near you!

Our roadshow kicked off in London with some lively, fascinating and inspirational discussions about faith and politics. Rev Giles Fraser took a plethora of questions about how Christians should approach the world of politics;  David Barclay from the Centre for Theology and Community inspired the room to explore community organising; and LDCF's own Sarah Dickson joined Gareth Wallace from the Conservative Christian Fellowship and Daniel May-Miller from Christians on the Left to unpack what the bible says about engaging in politics, what change we can make and what practical steps we can take to make a start.

The day finished with a chance to apply our thoughts and share ideas on how we would get involved with Christian Aid and Children's Society campaigns.

These workshops are great for political novices and experts alike. Come and try one out. Sign up to one near you here.

Next stop, Birmingham!

Tour dates: Birmingham 6th Feb, Manchester 20th Feb, Newcastle 27th Feb, Bristol 12th March and Sheffield 19th March.
